Welcome to the website for the Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunset – Honolulu’s first evening Rotary club.  Our club aims to follow in the Rotary ideal by fostering fellowship and social activities among the community’s leaders, giving a forum to grow and learn as individuals, and providing the opportunity to give back to the local and international community. 

The beautiful setting of the Waikiki Yacht Club, our regular meeting place, complements the friendly sociable character of our members and promotes an atmosphere of fellowship.  If you’ve never been to a Rotary Club meeting and think it’s not your style, I challenge you to visit – I know you’ll be surprised.  If you’re looking for a meeting to attend as a make-up, look no further!  Between the fellowship, setting, food, and drink, I know you’ll have a memorable time.

The 2010-2011 year marks an exciting time for the club as we continue the legacy that started 15 years ago.  In this short time, Honolulu Sunset has established itself as a leader in every aspect of service - whether it is in Community Service (this year led by Johnny Sanchez), International Service (Tim Hagan), Vocational Service (Harold Murray), or Youth Services (Richard Nettell).  Our goal this year is to continue making the club the place within the community to provide for “Service above Self”.
